

Kraig was born in Edmonds, Washington on October 3, 1969.
Kraig is survived by his mother Elsie Wentz, sisters Leanne (Pat) Spooner and Deanne (Duane) Landsverk, brothers Kevin Wentz, Kerry Wentz, and Kristin (Nita) Wentz, Nephews Erik (Hannah) Landsverk, Taylor Spooner and Kelly Wentz along with nieces April Wentz, Jessica Cvitovich, Katrina Wentz, Melissa (Riley) Hyce and Marie Landsverk. Kraig is preceded in death by his father Jerome Wentz, nephews Kyle Wentz and Kurtis Wentz, and sister-in-law Michelle Wentz.
Kraig grew up in Lynnwood Washington, he moved with his family to Alaska where he started his education at Nordale Elementary in Fairbanks Alaska at the tender age of 4 when he started kindergarten. The family returned to Lynnwood and he continued his elementary education at Lynndale Elementary and Meadowdale Middle School. He attended Meadowdale High School and was part of the graduating class 1987. His post academic life was working primarily as an electrician working for Meyer Sign Company and Seimens. He spent a season experiencing the treacherous Bering Sea working on a commercial fishing boat. He then moved to Scottsdale, Arizona where he was the head of maintenance for Talking Stick Casino. He moved back to Washington in 2018 and spent the past several years spending time with family.
Kraig was an avid outdoorsman and he was happiest when able to be out in nature whether he was hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, riding his Harley or spending time at the beach with family.
Kraig will be greatly missed by his family and Bruno – the dog he loved to hate. Bruno and Kraig had a relationship that only dog lovers could understand. Kraig loved to say that Bruno was a monster but in reality the bond they shared was one that will transcend time and Bruno along with the rest of us will forever grieve his passing.
