Leslie "Les" Dean Anderson Sr., 67, of Federal Way, Washington, passed away on February 16, 2018. Les was born on November 22, 1950 in Omak, Washington to Robert C. Anderson and Laura Adams. He enlisted in the Army in 1968 and later married the love of his life, Pauline Marx, on July 28, 1973. Les was a long haul truck driver for 45 years and was forced to stop due to his illness. He was able to visit every state in the mainland on his travels and brought home a token from each state. He enjoyed camping, road trips, movies, audio books, card games, telling jokes, playing computer games, and especially spending time with his family. Les is survived by his wife, Pauline, of 44 years, daughter Christie Halon, son Leslie Anderson Jr., daughter Kimberley Anderson, daughter Tamera Anderson, grandsons Tyson, Jordan, DeMarcus, Jesse, and Ben, granddaughters Amy and Megan, his sisters Judy Guerin and Lisa Mack, his brothers Mike Anderson, John Anderson, and Jimmie Legg, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Les was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, 1 brother Robert D. Anderson, and 1 sister Beverly Pritchard. A Vigil will be held in honor of Les at 7:30 p.m., Friday, February 23 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 30525 8th Avenue South, Federal Way, Washington 98003, Father Bill Mckee will be the celebrant of the funeral mass. Burial will follow at Floral Hills in Lynnwood. Memorial Donations may be made to gofundme.com/les-anderson-funeral-fund.
