Loretta Ingrum, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Loretta was born April 5, 1940 to James and Effie Baker of Canton, North Carolina. James made his way to Washington by way of working on the railroad. Once he got settled in Oso, WA, Loretta and her mother along with their dog, Sam, came by train to join him. Loretta was the youngest of five children. Later they moved to Virginia Street in Everett, WA. At 13 years old, Loretta met her brother's best friend, Wes Ingrum and it was love at first sight. Wes and Loretta married in 1956. Loretta went to nursing school and became employed at Everett General as a nurse.
Loretta is survived by Michael C. Ingrum, Debbie and Arlene, six Grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She enjoyed singing and playing the piano for Church, She was active in Rebeccas Lodge, giving of her time and talent in private health care when not traveling with her Beloved husband Wes Sr.
Above all Loretta loved and honored The Lord Jesus Christ. Her death was painless, beautiful and peaceful In Crystal River, Florida
A visitation for Loretta will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036, followed by a graveside service from 2:00 PM.
