Louise May Warner

Louise Warner, a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on February 8th 2024.

Louise was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Robert and Lillian Kirschbaum on January 23rd 1952. Louise later moved outside of the city building a life with Brian and their son Matt. She spent her career largely in Human Resources and Accounting. Louise and Brian shared their journey together in Maryland, Buffalo NY, Miami FL, and most recently in Bothell, Washington.

Louise was a life-long and avid sports fan to all sports teams of Maryland, with a special passion for the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. Louise was a dog lover and she found joy in her beloved cockapoo, Savannah. She also enjoyed travel and took advantage of retirement with trips around the country and the world. Louise will be remembered for the support she showed to family and friends over the years and the laughter she provided along the way.

Louise faced a heroic battle with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) for over three years. Those who interacted with Louise throughout her disease progression frequently remarked on her emotional strength and mental resilience. She bravely adjusted to each new challenge. She inspired us all by finding moments of joy among the incredibly difficult times.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Kirschbaum Jr. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Brian, her sister Jean (Tom), her son, Matt (Christy), stepsons Mike (Jenita) and Brett (Gina). She will be missed by her six grandchildren, Ryan, Jack, Colin, Ivy and Audrey, and Sophia.

The family would like to thank Arri, Lou and Foster from the Adon Adult Family Home for their incredible care and love of Louise in the last few months of her life. Louise was sincerely appreciative of the friendship and care she received.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made in her name to the ALS Society.

A memorial service for Louise will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036.
