Margaret Arline Glass

She was 87 years old.

Arline’s journey began on the 11 November 1932 in Seattle, Washington as the older of 2 children born to the union of her parents, Selma & Jess King. She has a younger brother, Mike.

Arline grew up in Seattle and graduated from Roosevelt High.

After high school, Arline went to college for Secretarial training and from there, she was hired as a Legal Secretary for the Seattle Law firm, DeGarmo, Leedy & Oles, which was a career she held for over 40 years.

In her personal life, Arline married the love of her life Bob Glass in October 1954 and they were blessed with 2 daughters together, Darlene & Carol.

Arline was loving, loyal and dedicated to her family – always supportive in both good times and bad.

She was also witty with a great sense of humor.

Arline was really happy person. She laughed a lot and enjoyed telling funny stories. She was kind with a beautiful, warm smile that she shared often.

Arline loved flowers. She had quite a flare for taking care of orchids and she could always get them to re-bloom.

But one of her biggest joys was her grandchildren. She loved them all very much – as well as each of their significant others.

Arline is preceded in death by her parents Selma & Jess King, her daughter Carol McMahon and husband of 63 years, Bob Glass.

She is survived by:

• Her daughter – Darlene (Ken) Harbeson

• Her brother – Mike King

• 5 grandchildren – Brian, Jeffrey, Jacob, Heidi & Melissa

• 10 great grandchildren – Tyler, Marie, Jax, Brianna, Keera, Riley, Brylinn, Nolan, Colt & Haven

• As well as many friends and the rest of her extended family, including several nieces & nephews who have stayed close to their aunt Arline.

A funeral service will be held at the Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Lynnwood, Washington on August 28th, 2020 at 11am, followed by an inurnment at 12pm.

Arline’s final resting place will be beside her daughter Carol and husband, Bob Glass in the Floral Hills Memorial Park.
