 I met Margery Jean Nokes husband at work and did not have the pleasure of meeting you, Margery. At work we heard of your plight, pain and struggle and I always thought of his strength, patience and loving words he would share about you. He has always been kind, considerate and thoughtful to us (co-workers) eventhough he was suffering with this tremendous loss of his love, his wife and his best friend. We care, we are here to listen, laugh with your good stories and memories and hope to help you and your family in any way we can. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your children, extended family and friends. It is rare to meet a co-workers partner. Once in a while we get that pleasure. After reading these loving comments and thoughtful memories, I so regret that I never met you Margery. Aloha always!

You're at home now in heaven, finally with no pain.  The letter you composed for me to read after you left us is amazing, just like you.  At the end of the letter you asked me these questions, "I wonder did I manage to thank you enough, love you enough, support you enough and care for you enough?  Have I been a good wife to you, honey, and anything like you hoped for?"  The answer, my Darling, Yes. Yes.  A thousand times, Yes.  You are my love, my treasure, and most of my heart.  I love you more.

I'm still very much in uncharted waters on a stormy sea mom, but I know a part of you is w/ me every step of the way. I've already seen signs of this from you. This is one of the toughest things I ever had to do in my life and you know I've had my fair share of bad time in my life. The hurt I feel right now feels like it will never go away... I'm so grateful for all the love a support from friends and family. It means the world to us right now.
Tomorrow they will lay our beautiful mother to rest.

Mom had tried to prepare me for this day but nothing she could of done would have prepared me this. It has only been a couple of days since she passed and i already miss her sooo much. Mom was huge in my life and now living it without her is devistating. I am honored to say that Margie was my mother. So many people were touched by the amount of love she had to offer. Her smile and laugh were infectious, when she was having a "good" day we all knew it we could hear it in her voice. All i can say now is that she is not suffering with pain or sickness anymore. Mom will be in my heart and thoughts everyday and there will come a time when i will she her again. Until then i will share plenty of Dicks cheese burgers with her and remember the awesome life she had given me. I will miss her very much but will LOVE her always. I want to Thank everyone for the suport our family has been receiving, it really does help in a time like this.

Aunt Margie, your strength and love of life will inspire me to make the best out of my own. Thanks for being so supportive of me. And every time I paint my nails, I'll think of you ^_^

So sorry to hear of Margie's passing.  All our lives are richer for knowing her.  My love and prayers are with all of you at this time.

Wow, I was just getting to know this wonderful lady ! Her husband John purchased his Harley Davidson motorcycle from myself this last year & Margie was part of the process with John from start to finish !  She was so excited for her MAN John to have this bike. A few months later she had given me a call & wanted me to help her in the purchase of a Harley Davidson watch for a gift! Margie stopped by a couple of times & we surfed the net together to come up with something very special ( we had a ball ) for her big boy ! This is one amazing women that I will never forget ! Margie was a very special person who was deeply loved by the Horish family - she was Pete and Paul Horish's first cousin.  Not many people knew she was a Seafair princess when she was young.  She was a lovely person inside and out and we will miss her dearly!

I still can't believe she's gone.  I regret that we didn't get together more often in person rather than in thought.  I loved Margie and she will always have a special place in my heart. May God bless and comfort you and yours and in time may only the wonderful times be remembered.
