Mary was born in Greenwood, South Carolina to the loving father, Roy McClellan and mother, Ruby Harbin (McClellan) Jordan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur (Art) Clamp and her first husband, Lloyd Cuffin, sister Joyce Kollman. She is survived by her son Michael Cuffin, and grandson Shaun Cuffin and sister Ruth Border, as well as numerous cousins and nieces.
Janet (as she preferred to be called) graduated from State High School in Greenwood, South Carolina in 1950. She worked at Anderson Memorial Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina for several years and for several independent doctors. She attended the American School of Radiology and graduated in 1952. She worked for Northwest Hospital in Seattle and retired from Radiology after 50 years of service.
She enjoyed traveling back to South Carolina and Florida to visit family and friends. She dearly loved her pet cockatiel Pete, who was a loyal companion for the last 17 years. She also enjoyed working in her garden and spending time visiting with family and friends.
Janet will forever live in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her.
