

Born on August 24, 1951 in Everett, WA, Mary was the middle of eight children on Highland Ave. She attended Everett Christian School, and graduated from Everett High School in 1969. In 1971, Mary, and her former husband, Mark Huttenstine, married and had two daughters whom they adored.
In 1987, Mary earned her Nursing degree at EvCC and spent her career as a highly-respected RN and a teaching nurse at Providence Medical Center (Everett General), where she worked in Orthopedics, Neurology, and Oncology.
In 1988, Mary met Frank on a blind date and instantly became the love of Frank’s life. They married on August 18, 1989, bringing together each of their two children. Together for 33 years amazing years in their Sea of Love.
She and Frank enjoyed traveling, including road trips along the coast and cross country to visit family. Mary especially cherished the times when the family would gather for camping vacations. One of her many hobbies was creating handmade cards. And most of all, Mary was known for a sense of humor and her laugh, always making us laugh even when times were hard.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Henderson; daughters, Jodie (Brian) Kelley, and Jenika (Mike) Culley, sons, Randy (Christy) Henderson, and David (Kathy) Henderson. She was “Beppa” to six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Hank Postma; sister, Peggy (Michael) Shaw, and a large extended family and many lifelong friends whom she loved greatly.
Mary is preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Fred and Fran Postma; her mother and beloved stepfather, Irene and Herb Anglin; siblings Carol, Darlene, Frank, Samuel, and Ted; and her mother-in-law, Jeanette Henderson.
Funeral Services will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA, 98036. Services at 1pm, internment at 2p, and reception to follow. Casual attire requested. Please visit www.floralhillslynnwood.com.
