Mary Holmberg was a fighter, a believer, and a teacher. She was a sympathizer, a comedian, a mentor, and a true lady. The reason she touched so many lives and affected so many people was due to her dynamic sense of being. If you had asked her what she genuinely cared about most in life, she would say, being a sister, mother, wife, grandmother, and friend.
She was an adoring wife. She married her husband John in September of 1953. They had been friends since childhood. Friends were so special to her. She loved spending time with them, chatting, crafting, and playing cards. After she moved to Washington, she was always talking so fondly about the times she spent with them while her husband was fishing.
There were so many things that she enjoyed in life. She loved to sew and crochet. She was always in the kitchen baking and cooking something delicious. Mary loved to travel and see the world with John. When the weather was calm, she would go to the beach and enjoy the day. Her dog, Fluffy was her best companion.
