I have such fond memories of my 12 years of school with Mary Ellen.  She was always a beacon of light, an inspiration, and a shining role model.  I chuckled at your comment about Mary Ellen's flair for fashion.  I still recall shopping with her at Nordstroms (when it was on Colby) for her bright yellow school picture outfit. She even made sure to find matching accessories.  It has been awhile since I've seen Mary Ellen, but I will miss her greatly.  She truly lit up any room that she was in.

I  remember Mary from high school. I did not know her well but she was a light in the class. She was beautiful and kind and her loss hits me harder than expected. Please accept my condolences afford your loss.

Though I had lost touch with Mary Ellen since high school, I have many happy memories from our childhood...the cool box of fireworks she brought to my 7th birthday, water skiing and swimming at Lake Stevens. Eating duck ala orange at her house and her brother Mike convincing me it was a duck from the lake...lots of fun. My sincere sympathy to her whole family, especially her daughters. ❤
