Mary Kristen Otero

She was born on March 23, 1964 in Pithapuram India where her parents both served as Peace Corps volunteers. She is the daughter of Thomas Francis Joyce and Marlene Marie Wagner. She ran her own janitorial business while raising her four children. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, art, riding horses, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and had a heart for helping others. She was always known for lending a hand or taking people in who were in need. She is survived by her husband Richard Otero, children Jessica Schumacher (Jesse Houghton), Rachel Marker (Ryan Marker), Sarah Arango (Julian Arango), and Alex Schumacher, Step children Janitze Huey (Jacob Huey) and Marlene Otero, Grandchildren Ashton Marker, Malia Marker, Makenna Marker, Hailey Marker, and Hunter Houghton, Step grandchildren Addie Huey and Cora Huey, father Thomas Joyce (Linda Joyce), Brothers Ken Joyce (Michelle Joyce) and Tim Joyce (Tina Ray). She was predeceased by her mother Marlene Wagner-Joyce.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Purdy and Walters, 409 Filbert Road Lynnwood WA, 98036 from 1:15pm to 4pm.
