Mel VanderWal 65 of Everett Washington passed away unexpectedly June 22 nd leaving his loving wife of 40 years Norma VanderWal, Brother Mitch and Sister in Law Vickie VanderWal. Children, Ed (Dung) Jones, Margarett (Wendell) Lawson, JoAnn Johnston, Grandchildren; Tom, Tara, Kyle, Trina, Jennie, Thomas and Catherine, along with many great grand children, nieces and nephews. Mel was preceded in Death by Parents Sydney and Shareen Vanderwal, Bruce Johnston son in law and grandson Dylan Jones. Kind, Loving and Loyal are the words we use to describe Mel, he loved to camp , fish and spend time with the kids, along with that were his great bowling attributes that he kept humbly to himself. He had a big heart and was easy to talk to and gain support from. He is missed dearly and will always be remembered as a good man who made our lives a better place as “Grandpa”.
A celebration of his life will be held July 1st 2012, at Lago Del a Plata clubhouse, 620 112th ST se, Everett Wa. 98208
