

Dean was a hardworking and true family man, very gentle in nature with a huge heart. He was a loyal husband, loving father and a true patriot.
Dean was born July 7, 1941 in Stone County, Mississippi. After his service in the Army, he moved to Everett, Washington where he made a career at Boeing, retiring after over 30 years working in many positions on the flight line on the 747 and 767 plane programs.
In 2006 he and his wife, Sonya moved to Zillah, Washington. They were snowbirds and spent 6 months in Zillah and 6 months in Yuma, Arizona.
Dean leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Sonya Johnson, Son and Daughter in-law Dan and Emily Johnson, Grandsons Brock, AJ and Owen Johnson, Daughter Julie Potier, Granddaughter Karli Potier, Son in-law Joe Potier, Step Daughter and Son in-law Shana Radtke-Oravetz, Derek Oravetz, Granddaughter Piper Oravetz, Sister Bonnie Powell as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and brother and sister in-laws.
He will be laid to rest at Floral Hill in Lynnwood, Washington on January 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM
