Miriam was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 11, 1927, and was raised in Indiana on a farm. At age 14, the family moved to Ballard where Miriam graduated from Ballard High, then attended Virginia Mason Nursing School.
She enjoyed traveling, painting, sewing, baking and beach combing.
She is survived by her husband David Anderson of 56 years, daughters Sandra (Scott) Nielsen, Marcia (Steve) Jewett, Diane Anderson and son Dan (Karen) Anderson, 8 grandchildren, brother Paul, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Providence Hospice of Snohomish County.
