Mohammad Saleh Nemati was born in 1953 in Kerman, Iran. He lost his dad at 16, but moved to the United States to fulfil his father’s wish to continue his studies. In 1981, Saleh graduated from the University of South Alabama with a bachelors in computer science. He traveled back to his hometown Kerman, Iran, to teach computer science to students in college. While he did switch jobs several times, he found down-time with his friends to travel throughout the states. He later settled down in Seattle in 1999 and married sweet Marjan. Their life together was never short of love, laughter, traveling, and road trips. Saleh was truly a wise man. He always had a story to tell and a joke to light up the room. With every Persian party he attended, he would be the first to start dancing and gathering others around him. Even in his most difficult stages of life years ahead, he spent his evenings watching classic tv shows and movies to stay engaged with his dear daughter, Bita, and his sweet wife, Marjan. Each month, he insisted on donating to organizations such as the Lynnwood Food Bank amongst other charities, and people in need - both within the United States and charities in Iran. His form of celebrating life was to always pray, to thank God, and to pass these teachings to his family.
