

Tom Kjolso, born on August 31, 1939, in Seattle, WA, to Norman and Leona Kjolso, grew up in Edmonds Washington. He graduated from Edmonds High School in 1957 and attended Western Washington University. In 1962 he met Donna Losey, and they married on June 28, 1963.
Tom was called to serve in the Army, where he worked as a Construction Engineer for two years. Upon returning, he took over a local cabinet shop in Edmonds, which he successfully operated for over 50 years until his retirement. In 1965, Tom and Donna built their cherished home on Martha Lake in Lynnwood, WA, where they lived for 59 years and raised their three children.
Tom was a talented fast-pitch softball player, playing actively in the 1960’s and 1970’s. He was an avid bowler, Steelhead fisherman and sports enthusiast, cheering for the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks. He cherished time with family, enjoyed road trips with Donna, and found joy in puzzles.
Tom was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna; two children, Ricky (Lynne) and Brad (Michelle); five grandchildren, Meagan, Mackenzie, Collin, Devin, and Alexis; brothers Larry and Jim; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Leona, and his son, Corey.
