From the early days of growing up next door to you...Beating up kids to protect you... the love we had for our bikes... and the runs to the creek... camping in forts made from cardboard and neighbors trash... to the day you were my best man at my wedding... I can honestly say that growing up in our days... a friend like you was the icing on the cake! A day dont go by without thinking of you Pat! You were and still my best friend! I can't believe it's been a year already and I still can't believe you're no longer here.  I think of you often and so wish things were different. I hope you have the peace now that you were searching for. You are greatly missed.

I'm still broken up over this, and can't believe that this has happened.  Of all of the kids that I coached when I was coach of the Falcon's Select Baseball team, Patrick was the one I remember the most.  His passion for the game, his amazing ability to overcome obsticles when they presented themselves throughout the game, and his sparkling personality.   Though we all grew older and went on with all of our lives, the memory of him on the mound throwing amazing curve balls, and showing the passion that he always showed will live with me forever!   We'll miss you Patrick......even those from your past.  My heart and prayers go out to all of his family.

Dear Leibel Family,
A piece of my heart chipped away when I heard of Patrick's passing. As one of my very best friends during our childhood years, he will always have a special place my heart. I think back to all the times we hung out, all the  sports we played, and all the laughs we shared... I admired him as a friend, and as a teammate. Pat was one of the good guys, and he'll be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. My prayers and love to you and your family.

We are shedding compassionate tears for your family. May God bless you and give you strength. Patrick and both of you, Larry and Pam, are a big reason I enjoyed coaching little league baseball. Vicki and I felt blessed to have Patrick as an example for Derek. His ability shined on the field and showed what level you can achieve with determination and hard work in sports and life. His outgoing personality made him shine even more. Our thoughts of Patrick are filled with very good memories and we are thankful to have been able to share in part of his life. We just heard about your loss and are so saddened for all of you.  We all wish we had heard so we could have come to his service. It had been since HS that I saw Pat.  He was my baseball buddy and pushed me every step of my career.  He was always there with a smile and an incredible drive to win.

So sad to hear that Patrick has passed away. I have not seen him in 17 yrs.. I remember him as a nice young man who liked to dirt bike and enjoyed life. My condolences to the Leibel family. May he rest in peace.
