

Robert (Bob) Roy Jackman passed away April 17, 2013 in Everett, WA. He was born March 14, 1927 in Seattle, WA to John (Pete) and Hazel Jackman. He was the eighth of thirteen children.
Bob served in the US Army as an MP in the Pacific and in Asia during the Second World War. He later served in the US Navy as an aviation bosom. He was employed at Todd & Lockheed Shipyards as a boilermaker for many years. He lived the majority of his life in the Puget Sound area. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking projects. He especially loved the outdoors & was very proud of his military service. He was a member of the American Legion
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his son John, His beloved wife Hazel, his step-son George, his brothers Rex, Ross, Ray, Russell, Ralph, Jack, Donald and sisters Ruby Barnhart, Reta Goss and Ruth Moore. He is survived by his daughter, Betty, brother Walter (Jerry), sister Violet Rielly, five step-children and numerous nieces and nephews. A big thank you to Bethany at Silver Lake NH for all the care and kindness extended to Bob. Entombment services will be Friday, April 26th at 3:00 PM at Purdy & Walters @ Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bob’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
