

Rose Marie was born in Topeka, KS in 1932 and spent many of her early childhood years on a farm in Faucett, MO where she loved to ride her Shetland Pony and play with the farm animals.
Rose Marie graduated from St Joseph, MO Central High School in 1950 where she was the Drum Majorette with the Central High Marching Band and marched in many holiday parades in the State. After High School she attended St Joseph Junior College where she majored in Art. She also worked for a year painting stained glass windows at a local art shop.
Rose Marie remained very artistic all of her life and was famous in the family and neighborhood for her elaborately decorated cakes with firetrucks, trains, ferris wheels, etc, to the delight of her kids and grandkids. While attending college she met her husband, the former Robert Wayne Crabtree and they were married in August of 1951. Robert passed away in 2021. Rosemarie's sister Shirley Ann Breinig was killed in a helicopter crash in Petersburg, AK in 1975.
Rosemarie is survived by her brother, Willis Baker of Cary, NC and her six children, Robert Crabtree (Bob) of Mariposa, AZ, Linda Levinson of Marysville, WA, Michael of Stanwood, WA, Allen Crabtree of Monroe, WA, Rosanne Jacobsen of San Antonio, TX and Susan Tyler of Wenachee, WA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Christopher Crabtree, Ryan Crabtree, Shane Levinson, Joshua Levinson, Kyle Jacobson,Kristine Yapple and Jason Hall and eight great grandchildren Makayla Levinson, Russell Levinson, Levi Levinson, Dane Jacobson, Colton Jacobson, Daphne Jacobson, Gavin Williams and Zachery Wagner.
A graveside service for Rosemarie will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036.
