Roy G. Morgan, of Shoreline, WA passed away peacefully July 3, 2014. Roy was born in London, KY, served in the Army, and married his best friend Mary July 5, 1958. Roy is survived by his loving wife Mary, two sons Craig (Leah) and Michael, two grandchildren Tyler and Connor, and many nieces and nephews across the country. In the late 70’s Roy volunteered countless hours as Vice President and President of Richmond-Highlands Athletic Association (RHAA) where he coached many children and he considered anyone who entered RHAA family. In 1997, after retirement as a welder for almost 40 years, he spent his time enjoying what he loved most; golfing, laughing, giving of himself, being a husband, father, grandfather and friend. Those who knew him knew he was a mountain of a man, a true southern gentleman, a hero, chauffer, chief pancake maker, and friend to many. Graveside services will be held this Friday and an open house on July 19th will be held at Craig and Leah’s home in Edmonds, WA. The family requests that remembrances be made to Richmond Junior Football League, http://richmondjrfootball.leaguetoolbox.com/site/ClientSite/article/111807
or a charity of your choice.
