Ruth was born on February 6, 1930 in Arlington, Washington to Ira and Maude Hunter. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Frank and sister Mildred.
Ruth leaves behind her devoted husband Don, daughter Rose McAllister (Tom) and son Roy Chambers (Sandy); sisters Maude Green and Dorothy Peterson (Earl); grandchildren Mitch (Erika), Lacey (Mark), Tony and Chloe; great-grand-children Harley, Jake and Mollie; and numerous nieces and nephews-- all dear to her heart.
Ruth graduated from Seattle Pacific College and taught 3rd grade. She and Don have been long-time members and supporters of Martha Lake Covenant church.
Ruth was a testament to strong faith and unending support to her family and many friends. We will miss her gentle smile, and we are glad she's at peace and with her Lord.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28th at 2 pm at Martha Lake Covenant Church in Lynnwood. Any donations in Ruth's name may be made to Martha Lake Covenant Church.
