Sharon was born on March 20, 1960, at Stanford University Hospital in California. After living in California for a short time, her family moved to Lynnwood, Washington, where she grew up and attended Lynnwood High School. It was there that Sharon met the love of her life, Jeff. One year after graduating from high school, Sharon and Jeff were married and began their life together.
After a short time working at Fred Meyer, Sharon devoted herself to what was truly most important to her: her family. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother brought her tremendous joy and filled her heart.
Sharon may not have been the loudest person in the room, but she had a remarkable way of making everyone in it feel seen, heard, and loved. She was patient, compassionate, and deeply empathetic, creating a sense of comfort and acceptance for those around her. Her love for others was expressed not through what could be bought, but through the thought, care, and creativity she put into everything she did.
Creativity was one of Sharon’s special gifts. Whether she was cooking, baking, drawing, gardening, caring for her plants, or creating something with her own hands, you could always tell that tremendous thought and love had gone into it. She had a beautiful ability to turn simple things into meaningful gifts and moments for the people she loved.
Sharon had a deep passion for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Being a mother and grandmother was one of the greatest joys of her life. Her gentle nature, caring heart, patience, and unconditional love touched the lives of so many. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her and by all who were fortunate enough to spend time in her presence.
Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, Jeff; her daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie; her son-in-law, John; her son-in-law, Nathaniel; her granddaughter, Sydney; her grandsons, Alex and Matthew; her sister, Patricia, and brother-in-law, Richard; her brother, David, and sister-in-law, Sheri; her sister-in-law, Linda, and brother-in-law, Jim; and her nieces and nephews, Justin, Lea, Charissa, Lindsey, Celeste, and Christopher.
A family service will be held to celebrate Sharon’s life and honor the loving, caring woman she was.
Family and friends are invited to leave a message, memory, or photograph in Sharon’s memory. These messages and photographs will be gathered together to create a slideshow and keepsake book for her family, providing a lasting collection of the love and memories she created throughout her life.
