Sharon was a long-time good friend when we were in high school.  She was at Jeff High and I was at Clarksville, and our Dads were deacons at Jeffersonville Church of Christ.  I loved her spirit, and we spent a lot of time together during our teenage years.  

Been thinking about her a lot in the past month or so, and when I 'googled' her name, I was so sad to see that I just missed her.  She's walking with our Lord and Saviour and my sister, Shelba.  

My condolences to all of her family.  Just wish we could have reconnected here on earth!

My condolences to her family! I enjoyed getting to know her on the Metro bus rides into Seattle for work. I was blessed with her words of wisdom. She talked of her husband quite a lot; she obviously loved him very much! Now they are together!

What a warm, friendly, delightful person Sharon was and the world will not be the same without her. She was wise enough to share her unique wisdom by choosing to hone her gift of public speaking. I will never forget the message she shared the last time I heard her speak. She asked us all to reach out and connect with one another, with the young people so they do not feel disenfranchised, with those that are not as fortunate, as they need the support we can give, and finally to 'the old folks'. She reminded me that a simple smile or an encouraging touch can make a difference in someone's life. And that is exactly what she did; I always reached out for a hug when I saw her encouraging smile approaching me. Rest in Peace. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and close friends; her absence leaves a void.

The summers of her 14th and 15th years, Sharon was one of my favorites at Camp Indogan, in Indiana, which I directed. I loved that vibrant young lady and I think she's been a loved favorite everywhere she's been since! She was interested in my involvement in Toastmasters and I'm glad I provided the spark that became such a brilliant flame of influence. She and I were to have gotten together to work on her TM contest speech a few months ago, but distance and my wife's dementia hindered it at the last minute. Sharon's zest for living came from her deep faith and from her wonderful parents and her sister and brother-in-law, who were much involved in our work at Camp Indogan. I was just starting to really get to know Sharon, and enjoyed her humor and wisdom.  I will miss getting hugs from her on Sunday morning at church.  She will be deeply missed.

I'm sure I knew but forgot that Sharon was born in Louisville, KY. Rod and I are both from there--no wonder Sharon was like family to us! We miss her terribly but know she is waiting for us in Heaven. With deepest sympathy to her children and their families. Thank you for sharing this wonderful, sweet lady with us.

Sharon was one of the first people that I met as a totally at sea new Area Governor in District 2 Toastmasters. Sharon was always the first to volunteer to help at my contests and greeted me with a hug each time that she me. Sharon was my test speaker for the Evaluation contest in Division F a couple of years ago. Her story was hilarious and gave the evaluation contestants great material to work with. I am going to miss you.

My deepest condolences.  Sharon helped me more that she will ever know during my time as a Toastmaster Area Governor.  She made our contests a huge success.  Her guidance, knowledge, smile, and humor will be missed.

The first thing Sharon did when she reached the pearly gates was hug everyone in sight. Why would she do any differently than she did on earth? Her spirit overflowed with love and happiness no matter who she was with, or where she was, because her heart was made from joy. Good night, dear friend. Know that you had a positive impact on so many.

Sharon was a kind & gentle woman who was always eager to help at any Toastmasters event.  She always had a smile, encouragement & a hug to give everyone she met.  We will always miss Sharon...her laughter, uplifting stories...& friendship!  Until we meet again, my friend.  You are loved!!!
