January 28, 2026, Mr. Sung Dae Kim, 101, of Everett, WA, passed away peacefully at home. He married his lifelong wife (the late Jung Ok Chang) in 1949. He had been a great teacher in Korea’s public education system since 1947 until emigrated to the United States in 1979. He held many different jobs including a shoe repair craft until finally retiring in the year 2000. He was an avid sports lover which included jogging, tennis and fishing. He was a devout Christian and lived his life serving his Lord in various capacities in his local Seventh Adventist Churches he had attended. He is survived by five children, ten grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all whom he had been encountered throughout his life.
