Theda was a truly giving person of her time and talents taking a video of our marriage in 1995 and re-doing the video years later because the technology had improved. We shared many good times at Honeywell/Alliant and on to many get-together lunches later on.  Now she is in a place of light, a place of repose, a place of refreshment, where there is no pain, sorrow and suffering.

I knew Theda mostly through my dear friend Jim.  He always lit up when he talked about her--he adored her strength, her independence, her caring, and her creativity.  He was, as we all were, in awe of her boundless courage and dignity as she fought so many tough battles over the last 10 years.  Theda touched many lives and she will be greatly missed.

What would the Evergreen high school class of "70" reunions have been without the influence from Theda? We owe so much to her.

Last December I had a very long talk with Theda...she said she was in a very peaceful state of mind. I realize now that she probably knew her days were very limited and I feel terrible that I did not make that last effort to get  us girls together again.

Let this be a lesson to all of us.... don't get so caught up in our own lives
that we let those precious moments with friends get away from us and then it is too late.  Please forgive me Theda, you deserved better from me.

You will be deeply missed.

Theda was my dear friend and I will miss her greatly.  She always made an effort to spend time with friends, to be there in time of need or to laugh with us and just have fun.  She made sure we always kept in touch. I will forever cherish her friendship and the memories we shared.

Theda loved and lived so passionately in this life but I know that her spirit lives on in a more beautiful place without sorrow or pain.

I am so grateful that she generously shared herself with us.

Like so many others here, my friendship with Theda began at Honeywell - in the late 70s!   When hard time hit and many of us moved on we planned birthdays and brunches to keep in touch. The attendees may have varied, but Theda was always there - she organized them. She loved turning our outings into a celebration of love and friendship.

In recent years my health changed as did hers.  I offered moral support, cards, calls and letters; Theda came to my side - brought me food, stayed with me and drove me to doctor visits.  She generously shared that same love and devotion with her family and friends.  I will hold her spirit light in my heart forever.

I remember the tiny little child I pushed in her buggy down Fifth Street in Petaluma.  Theda always seemed to look on the good side of life and I never heard her speak ill of anyone.  She had a helpful nature and always ready to share her talents.  She will be missed greatly and forever in our memory.

Theda was my big sister, my memnories of her are vast and deep. I will forever love her, and I will forever miss her. Life will be empty without her around.

My memories of Theda at the Mukilteo plant were how nice she always was when she came by the security deck and she will be missed.

I'll always remember Theda as a young and spunky, beautiful, kind & loving woman. We were all lucky to know her and even luckier to be loved by her. She was a vital part of this family. I remember the first day I met her at the VA hospital in 1969. Our Dads were in the same room. The rest is history.... Strange the path life took us, yet we stayed Forever Sisters and I will miss knowing she is in the family taking care of everyone. I send my Love and Blessings to Jim, and all the family. ~Karen~
