Tom lived a life full of hard work, hobbies he loved, and memories made along the way. A proud Navy veteran, he went on to spend more than 30 years working at Boeing. Outside of work, he enjoyed the simple comforts of home, taking pride in caring for his yard and tackling projects around the house. He also loved spending time with his family watching football, enjoying movies, and sharing everyday moments together. Tom enjoyed figuring things out, working with his hands, and taking pride in the things he built and cared for.
Tom had a lifelong love for all things automotive, from classic cars and Harley-Davidson motorcycles to the model cars he collected. He especially enjoyed attending car shows with his cousins. He loved music and could often be found shooting pool with his buddies, enjoying a little friendly competition. In more recent years, he also played in a few pool leagues. He enjoyed a good game of cards and any chance to spend time outside soaking up the sun.
Above all, Tom's life was shaped by the people he loved and the memories he made with them. He had a way of turning everyday moments into lasting memories, whether through shared adventures, lending a hand with a project, or simply spending time together. His love for his family, his many interests, and the life he built over the years will be remembered by all who knew him.
Tom is survived by his wife, Susan; his son, Charles; and his daughter, Crystal, along with countless friends who will miss him dearly. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the traditions carried forward, and the many things he loved that will continue to bring people together.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, 10/23/26, at 12pm at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home & Cemetery in the Azalea Garden.
