Tyanna Lynn Vakulchik, 29, of Bothell, WA went home to Jesus on June 2, 2023, with her husband, family, and close friends by her side. She battled an autoimmune disease for 3 years before passing away from liver and kidney failure. Tyanna was born on May 1, 1994, to Jason and Patty Fouts.
She primarily grew up in Bothell, WA where she attended Cedar Park Christian School kindergarten through high school. She loved to play both soccer and basketball. As she entered sixth grade, she started playing Bothell Select basketball. She also played soccer and varsity basketball all four years of high school. She made many lifelong friendships with those from Cedar Park.
In her pre-teens, Tyanna had an entrepreneurial spirit which led her to make dinners for neighbors for a couple of summers– taking orders, making the meal, and delivering it to their house at the scheduled time while it was still hot.
After graduating from Cedar Park in 2012, she attended Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, but felt it was too far and returned home to work as a barista and take classes online. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.
In November 2014, Tyanna met Denis, the love of her life, at a local party. Their relationship grew and on January 19, 2018, Denis proposed to Tyanna during an indoor soccer game. A few of their friends and parents were in attendance. Near the end of the game, Denis faked an injury by falling down and lying on the ground. Tyanna was not paying attention at the time, so her friends told her that it appeared that Denis was injured and she should go see if he was ok. When Tyanna went out on the field to check on him, he got up on one knee and proposed. They were married later that summer.
Tyanna and Denis have three daughters, Zayley, Giavanna, and Bexley. Denis and the girls meant more to her than anything in the world and she loved them dearly. She nannied in their home so that she could be with her own girls while providing a loving environment for another child or two.
Tyanna loved Jesus from an early age, gave her heart to Him and was baptized. She loved seeing her family in church and being ministered to. She encouraged her friends through many of her social media posts regarding her faith. She lived a life full of the fruits of the spirit and wanted all her friends and family to know the absolute love of Jesus. Sometime after the age of 7, Tyanna had highlighted Psalm 116:15 in her Adventure Bible which says “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants.” Tyanna was a faithful servant of the Lord.
In a recent social media post, Denis wrote, “Thank you sweetheart for giving us three wonderful and beautiful girls. You have done an amazing job with them. You have been an amazing mom to our daughters and I will do my best to keep that love and encouragement for them through you. I wish this wasn't the outcome. But you are not hurting anymore. So take care of our kiddos up in heaven and I will take care of our kiddos down here. Love you. RIP”
Tyanna is survived by her husband Denis, their three daughters Zayley, Giavanna and Bexley, her parents Jason and Patty, her older brother Kai, five younger adopted sisters: Gabriella, Amaris, Annabella, Isabella, and Destyni, two cousins: Jordan and Corban, and two aunts: Rebecca and Amy Jo. Three of Tyanna and Denis’ babies preceded her due to miscarriages and they went to be with Jesus before they ever got to meet their parents here on earth.
