Vera E Anderson

Vera Eloise Anderson passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 94 on March 5, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Vancouver, Washington. Vera was born on August 8, 1916 in Hickson, North Dakota. She follows her loving husband, Grant Anderson.

She was an active member of Central Lutheran Church in Everett for 37 years, where she was Council Secretary, Couple’s Club President, and Women’s Circle Chair as well as other church involvement. Vera worked for many years as an elementary school secretary in Everett. She and her husband retired to Vancouver in 1993. Home and family were her main focus in life and she enjoyed the many winters spent in Arizona.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Moore and husband, Byron of Vancouver, and son, Gary Anderson and wife, Elizabeth of Victoria. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to Care and Share at Central Lutheran Church in Everett, or to The Lower Wild Rice and Red River Cemetery, 3418 Park View Lane, Fargo, ND 58103. A memorial service will be held at Floral Gardens in Lynnwood at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 10. Thanks to SW Hospice in Vancouver.
