86 years old, Vernon was born May 16, 1929 in Granite City, Illinois to Lewis Edmond White and Vesta Caroline Atchley White. He passed away on September 7, 2015 in Edmonds, Washington. Vernon proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired after 20 years as a Chief Petty Officer. He then was owner and serviceman of a refrigeration company. He is survived by his loving Wife; Leila White, their son; Vernon White and their grandson; Tyler White. Funeral Services will be on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, Washington.
