Our sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad. Although I lost touch with Bill Sr after he retired, I will never forget him - his smile, his jokes and most of all his enthusiasm for his life-long occupation - engineering & refractories. It always amazed me how he could just whip up a design or sketch - very talented. He always provided encouragement and guidance in a positive manner. I appreciate and thank him for all that he did for me and for being a great professional mentor. Our thoughts and prayers are with your Mom and your  family at this very difficult time. God Bless.

I am so very, very sorry for your loss, Pat. I got to know you and Bill on a business level around 15 years ago, but over the years you became more like friends...no family...to me. I will miss very much seeing Bill at our annual holiday lunches. His stories always made me laugh, and he always had that twinkle in his eye. I'd love how he'd "tell it like it is" while you would respond with "Oh Bill..." and we'd all laugh. I will miss him very much, and I'm thinking of you and your family at this very difficult time. xoxo

Pat, Bill and Pam, looking at the pictures attached to the article brought me back to the old Cle Elum days and all the fun we had as best family friends. Bill was a man that I am honored to have known. I would always get excited when him and Pat would pull into the office to see what kind of adventure they were on to next. His everlasting smile was contagious and even after heart surgery, he found a way to make the ones around him smile. I remember going thru old files and watching the eyes of Bill Jr light up and tell stories about the many business road trips they shared together. Bill was a cool guy and will definitely be missed.

Although we lost contact during our adult lives, we had many memories during our childhood.  One thing I remember, Tom & I  thought we were having fun when we rolled Bill down the hill in the linoleum tube in Monroe & he lost his front tooth, boy did we get in trouble. I really enjoyed the photo gallery that was put together, some old memories with pictures with his mom and the one of Bill on the scooter with Grandpa Thornberry's old truck in the back ground, which I think he gave to Bill.  He always spoke very highly of Bill. My condolences  go to all of Bill's family.  From the photo gallery it looks like he had wonderful life with all his friends and family and left fond memories.  I have a meeting at noon tomorrow and if I can get out early I might be able to make the funeral service, I really want to see Tom and Don and there families. God Bless everyone who knew Bill.

Pat,Pam,Bill and kids, With all my heart   I am so sorry for your loss.  The memories are so many it's really hard to  name one. The camping trips,bike rides,and Halloween parties that were so fun.  I'll miss our talks about NASCAR and who taped it and what day was the second showing, and the different home remedies to do for what ails us. We had some good laughs together that  I will always miss .

Bill had many quality's,one of which was his generosity of his time.  He would always contribute if he thought he could help with a problem. One of the many things I will miss about is his presentations of his many inventions, my favorite being the shoes with the long spikes for lawn aeration. I think someone actually did patent this. Bill's great sense of humor goes without saying.  He was such fun to be around. Rest in Peace,Bill. Pat,Pam,Bill and kids, my deepest sympathy to you in this time of great sorrow. Grandpa,

You were such an important figure in my life and I will always miss your smile, laugh, and sense of humor. Our lives will never be quite as interesting or funny as when you were a part of it, but we will always have the great memories to think back on - and there were plenty of those. The world has truly lost a special person. Love you grandpa.

My father was a great friend and strong part of my life- he taught me so much about being a man, taking care of family and being there when times are tough. I will miss your sense of humor, your laugh and your love.

I will never forget the times we spent working on engines, riding motorcycles, camping and working together.I have so many positive memories- they are helping me get through this painful time.

Bill and Pat have been clients and friends of mine for many years. I think I have become as close to them as anyone I got to know to know first in a business capacity. The friendship, the annual Christmas lunch, (Pat...you and I and Alison and Laurie will be going again this December), the laughs, your instructions on the best casinos for a golf road trip, the stories of Bill's antics driving (the Turkey Vulture story)... and serious discussions on investments and just living life...all I cherish. Bill was a great guy, plain and simple!...and Pat I love you and my prayers and thoughts are with you at this time...
