Bill, of Bothell, Washington passed away on the 14th of September in Edmonds, Washington. Born to Florence E. (Baker) and Herbert C. Hallock in Uplands, California in 1927. Bill would have celebrated his 84th birthday on September 29th.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Pam; children, Greg (Jill), Doug (Eileen), Lynda (Don) Janson, Janis (John) Morrison and Brad (Karen); grandchildren, Vonita (Chris) Francisco, Bruce and Michael Hallock; Tim and Stephanie Janson and Kim (Casey) Baker; Karina, John, Kelly, William (Amber) Morrison; Karleen, Sabrina and Jesse Hallock; great grandchildren, Jadeyn Baker and Emily Francisco. sister, Mildred Wilson; sister-in-law, Edwina (Mackie) Benham; and several nieces and nephews.Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth.
Bill was a radioman 3rd class in the U.S. Navy, 1945-1947. He retired from Mack Trucks, Seattle, 1986, after 32 years of service.
His hobbies included gardening, wood and metal working, fishing, camping and boating. Bill will be remembered as a family man, for his kindness, his sense of humor and his willingness to help others.
A memorial service will be held at Purdy and Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036 on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 1:00pm.
