

Whether at the school helping teachers and having lunch with her children, or planning surprise birthday parties to make everything in life special, her family was her life. She told everyone that she had the best family in the world. Mommy's little girl being the best little mommy she could. 'Smurf' to daddy, 'Papa's Girl', devoted mother to Caiden and Destiny, died on November 3, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Memorial services and a celebration of her life will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Shannon Back officiating. Burial will be private. The family will meet friends from 3 p.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Alana was a native of Lizella and a graduate of West Side High School and Troy University. She was a member of Lizella Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Destiny Hughes of Lizella; Alana's parents, Michael and Lana Wuolukka of Lizella; fiancé, David Poole; brother/nephew, Wolf Hunter Uhl; maternal grandparents, Hewey and Vernice Smith; paternal grandmother, Ottilie Wuolukka; as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her sister Melissa Wuolukka in 2000.
