

Alfred Hugh Leonard, Jr., entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 1, 2013 at his residence. A celebration on his life will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Timothy W. Price officiating. Interment will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Leonard was born on November 23, 1944 in Macon, Georgia to the parentage of the late Alfred H. Leonard, Sr. and the late Ozzie Bell Fort Leonard. He was educated in the Bibb County School System. After graduating from Ballard Hudson High School in 1962, he continued his education at Savannah State College until he was drafted into the Army in 1966. Mr. Leonard received an Honorable Discharge following three years of service to his county, he was a Vietnam Veteran and during his service he worked as a Aviation Navigation Equipment Instructor.
Mr. Leonard was united in Holy matrimony to Carline Miles in 1972 and to this union a son, Alfred Hugh Leonard, III was born. He was employed as a Plastics Supervisor at Allied Chemical prior to his employment at Robins Air Force Base, where he retired in April 2012 after 35 years.
Mr. Leonard leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted wife: Carline Miles Leonard; son: Alfred (Tamara) Leonard, III; two sisters: Ann Kathleen Leonard and Phyllis (Wm. Peter) Morris; brother: Ronald (Jeanette) Leonard, all of Macon; uncle: Dr. Bruce (Evelyn) Fort, Jr. Albany, GA; aunt: Mrs. Lillian Fort of Macon; mother-in-law: Mrs. Ollie M. Miles and many other relatives and friends.
