Allene P. Lambert

Allene Pullen Lambert, 92, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Pine Pointe Hospice after a brief illness. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Joe McDaniel and Rev. Glen Haskins officiating. The family will meet friends on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Tattnall Square Baptist Church, 4925 Zebulon Road, Macon, GA 31210 or Pine Point Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.

She was born November 18, 1920 in Meriwether County, GA. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Robert Alvin Pullen and Lena Matthews Pullen, and a brother James Robert Pullen. She was a longtime member of Tattnall Square Baptist Church and the Dorcus Sunday School Class. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and was a servant to many.

She is survived by her husband of 74 years, James L. Lambert, sons, Jimmy (Brenda) Lambert of Macon, Ronnie (Peggy) Lambert of Vidalia, GA, three grandchildren, Todd Lambert of Vidalia, GA, Dr. Meredith (Kevin) Voyles of Brentwood, TN, and Reid (Ruth) Lambert of Kennesaw, GA., five great grandchildren, Callie Lambert of Vidalia, GA, Cameron Voyles and Mallory Voyles of Brentwood, TN and Evan Lambert and Macy Lambert of Kennesaw, GA.
