

Alton Clinton Moore, 89, died on October 11, 2015. A Celebration of his Life will be held in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Danny Mundy officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mr. Moore served in the United States Army Infantry, Company B 82nd Chemical Mortor Battalion during WWII. He was decorated with the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Ribbon with one Bronze Star, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal Victory Ribbon and Meritous Unit Award for service in Japan. He retired from Armstrong and his self-owned business, Forestry Products, Inc. He was preceded in death by his son, Tyrone Alton Moore.
He is survived by his children, Faye Washburn (Tommy); Marsha Graham (Tommy); Danny Ray Moore (Cheryl); grandchildren, Justin Moore, Amanda Wages, Allie Klepsig, Stephanie Holder, Amy Blaschke, T.J. Washburn, Brian Graham, Blake Graham, Kyle Graham, Melissa Griffin, Clint Moore; great grandchildren, Ayden & Ava Moore, Makayla, Macey, Mattie Wages, Paige & Tristen Coleman, Cooper, Adyson & Laney Klepsig, Lily Holder, Mary Grace & Ellie Blaschke, Laney & Claire Washburn, Chloe Graham, Hunter Graham, Savannah, Cole, Jackson, Brooklyn Griffin; sisters, Mary Lois Chambers, Linda Bonner.
