

Angela Lynn Blount, a beacon of strength and love, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on September 20, 1964, Angela's life was a testament to the power of kindness, resilience, and unwavering care for those she cherished.
Angela is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Nicholas Blount. Together, they celebrated 45 years of marriage, a journey filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. She was a guiding light in the lives of her children, Dennis Blount and Katie Johnson, teaching them the values of compassion, perseverance, and the importance of family. Her daughter-in-law, Amanda Blount, and son-in-law, Tyler Johnson, were embraced and loved as her own, reflecting the boundless capacity of her heart.
She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her deeply: her mother, Patricia Allen; her sister, Laura Patterson (Kenny Patterson); her father-in-law, Roger Blount; her brother-in-law, David Blount; her sister-in-law, Kelly Wynne; and her cherished nieces and nephews, Rebecca Ruddick, Matthew Wynne, and Kristen Campbell. Angela's legacy will also live on through her four beautiful grandchildren, Amden and Avi Blount, and Rylee and Zoey Johnson, who were the apple of her eye. Her joy was most vibrant when she was surrounded by their laughter and endless energy, imparting wisdom, and instilling a sense of wonder and curiosity about the world around them.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Carlton Allen, and her mother-in-law, Marie Blount, both of whom she held dear in her heart.
An extraordinary woman, Angela had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. Her love for gardening allowed her to cultivate not just plants, but a sense of peace and beauty that she generously shared with everyone. An adept seamstress, she crafted not only garments and decorations but also moments of connection and creativity with her family and friends. Angela's love for music filled her home with melodies that are now cherished memories, a comforting embrace for her loved ones.
A celebration of Angela's life will be held at Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Rick Harris officiating. Where family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by her are invited to share memories and stories, reflecting on the incredible woman she was.
