Ann Morrison Jones went home to be with our Lord and Savior.,Jesus Christ. A truly kind and generous soul, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, in Denver, Colorado, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born March 11, 1939, in Macon, Georgia, Ann’s life was defined by love, service, and finding joy in the simple things. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Ann was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and friend whose presence brought comfort and joy to everyone around her. She was preceded in death by her siblings Mae Hilburn, Jack, and Charles Morison, and her sons Robert and Gregory Jones. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Moore, brother Johnny Morrison, her children Cliff, Kenneth Jones, Susan Haymore and Jennifer Kruus, and her beloved children-in-law Becky Jones, Brian Roehsner, and Jani Kruus
As a grandmother, Ann found pure joy in her grandchildren: Michael, Patrick, and Joshua Haymore, Nicholas and Sofia Kruus, Jan Plummer, and Andrew Davis.
A graduate from Middle Georgia State University with a degree in nursing in 1985, her passion for caring for others translated into a fulfilling career as a home health nurse, where she served her community for over 25 years.
Outside of work, Ann enjoyed tending to her garden, attending church and was an avid Jeopardy! fan (just don’t call her during the show!). But above all, it was her kindness and generosity that defined her. Ann truly lived by the words of her grandson, Nicholas, "I love you more." She made sure everyone around her felt that love every day.
We say farewell to Ann with gratitude for the time we shared and the beautiful example she set. May she rest in peace, knowing that her love lives on in our hearts. She was truly an unsung hero.
