I just learned of Anne's passing. I am sorry that I did not know. I send love and hope to the entire family.

Mr. Stokes, our thoughts and prayers go out to you. We know Frances and Ann are in good shape now walking the streets of gold with their mothers. No more pain from those old bodies that didn't work. It was always a pleasure to know you and your family. As always we'll be thinking of you.

Ralph & family.  We were so sorry to hear of Ann's passing.  She was an inspiration to all who knew her & a wonderful witness for our Lord.  It's wonderful to think how happy she must be now in her new glorified body & reunited with her mother.  May God be near & dear to you through these days.

Mr. Stokes and family, I am so sorry for your loss.  Ann was always a friend to me and I loved seeing her.  I believe the last time I saw her was at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon quite a few years ago and it was just like no time had passed.  She was as friendly and sweet as she always was.  Prayers for your family in this most difficult time.

Our love to Ralph and the rest of the Stokes family at this time.  Ann and I were the same and my memories of her go back to when we were both eight years old in Macon, GA.  We met regularly over the years, even as my respect and admiration grew for her over the years.  She was a remarkable person with a loving heart and inquisitive mind, always interested in others even as she overcame many obstacles to build a productive and grace-filled life.  I am sorry we won't be able to meet again during our next trip to Macon in January.  Again, our love to the Stokes family during this time.

I have loved Ann and Mrs Dot and Mr Ralph for all my 47 years! She was my teacher first and always; then my friend and always an example of the joy of our Lord and Savior. So many great memories! She will be greatly missed until we join her in the presence of our Father!! My sincere condolences, Mr. Stokes and family.

So sorry to hear about Ann's passing.  We went to school together at Gilead (Macon when we graduated) Christian Academy.  She was in the first graduating class, I was in the second class.  I remember holding the door open for her in the bathroom and oh the conversations we would have together.  She loved arguing a lot with my Dad but he would dish it right back at her.  She loved & respected my parents (Ray & Ruby Carmichael).  They have passed on as well.  My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.  May the God of all peace bring comfort to you and your loved ones and may you find comfort & strength through all your praying friends.  She was well known and brought so much joy wherever she went. Mr.  stokes, Brenda, Harris, Susan and Stuart.  I have loved the Stokes family for 55 years of my 70.  Mrs Stokes was my Sunday school teacher and Brenda and Harris were part of my teen years at school and Mikado Baptist Church. Ann was a true sweetheart. Always had a sweet smile and I never heard her complain. My prayers are with you all.

I hadn't seen Ann since we were children at Mikado Baptist Church and I remember her mom Dot. I know Ann is rejoicing in the presence of her Lord Jesus Christ and being with her mother Dot once again. May God give the family strength in knowing they will be reunited one day in the presence of our Lord.

Dear Ralph and family. Ann Grace has always been a shining light. Her infectious smile and genuine caring and optimism added joy to our lives. Alert and knowledgeable, she shared in all our conversations with enthusiasm and interest. Just as her name, she was a woman of grace and beauty. We will miss her presence, but she left enough of herself with us to always remember her with thanksgiving. Thank you for the beautiful photo gallery. I was privileged to work with Ann for a number of years. Always looked forward to her smile and warm welcome when I went to her office and I was never disappointed. She was a remarkable person with a winsome personality. She loved to tease me and I loved to tease her back. I offer my condolences for your loss.
