Audrey Head Marshall

LIZELLA – Audrey Head Marshall, 86, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Pine Pointe Hospice. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at Lizella Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. David Lee Moseley will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 7:30 p.m., Thursday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. They may be contacted at 4105 Holley Road, Lizella. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Lizella Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2950 South Lizella Road, Lizella 31052.

Mrs. Marshall, wife of the late Ralph Marshall, was the daughter of the late Jessie Head and Katie McCallum Head Sanders. She was a lifelong resident of Lizella and a longtime member of Lizella Baptist Church. Mrs. Marshall was in accounting retired from Belk-Mathews group office.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (McKenna) Garvin of Macon; her son, Randall E. (Shirley) Douthit of Lizella; six grandchildren, Ron (Sherri) Douthit, Audie (Layne) Davis, Ken (Paige) Garvin, Marcy (Ron) Rookey, Buster (Julie) Wallace and Laura (Brian) McGreggor; thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
