Barbara Lucille Batten, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will greet friends on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Barbara was born in Macon. Georgia to the late Robert Seymore and Lillian Lucille Tharpe Eastman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mid Batten, son, Robert S. Batten and a great grandson, William. Barbara was a member of Rogers United Methodist Church and enjoyed baking fruit cakes and quilting. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her children, Romona Jean Batten (Kenny) Foster of Forsyth, Cynthia Batten of Nashville, grandchildren, Johnny Fifer III, Chris Foster, Zachary Pilnicki and Shelby Pilnicki, great grandchildren, Joseph, Brayton and Jordyn, sisters, Patricia Ann Fales of Hawkinsville, Dorean Crook of Dry Branch and several nieces and nephews.
