Barbara Ann McKnight, 69, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Stubbs officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Macon GA 31201.
Barbara was born in Dagenham, England to the late Thomas and Annie Littler Carleton. She was employed with Wal-Mart. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband, Vaughn “Mac” McKnight of Macon, step-daughter, Erica (Barry) Stubbs of Macon, grandchild, Chellsey Jones, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Eileen Howlett and Brenda Carlton, two brothers, Jimmy Carleton and Geoffory Carleton all of England, three nieces and one nephew.
