Barbara Bradbury White, 83, of Macon went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Len Woodard will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers those who wish can make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Mrs. White was born in Macon, the daughter of the late William Marsh & Julia Walton Bradbury. She retired from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office after 30 years of service. She was a graduate of McEvoy High School and attended Macon State University. She loved her family, traveling to the mountains, cooking, and crafting.
Survivors include her children: Noland White (Leah) of Milledgeville, Lynn Hinson (Ted) of Macon, and Julie Collins (Rette) of Macon. Grandchildren: Sierra Bush (Jordan), Kelly Collins, Alexis White, Claire Collins, Landon White, Lyndsey Hinson, and Logan Hinson, and 1 great-granddaughter, Addison Bush.
