.Macon – Bennie Joe McDaniel passed away January 6, 2012. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. McDaniel was born in Butler, GA to the late Homer Sonnie McDaniel and Loula Ellis McDaniel, and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his sons, Mark Myers and Steve Richardson and brothers Harold and Melvin McDaniel.
Survivors include his wife Sarah McDaniel; sons, Terry Fowler , Wayne Myers, Gary Richardson, and Walt Fowler; sisters, Mary Councel, Verna Cummings, Helen McDaniel, and Jewel Simmons; sister in law, Celis Register; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
