Betty "Recie" Fuller Baughcum, age 85, of Roberta, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 surrounded by her family. Recie was born November 13, 1936 the daughter of the late Kathryn Baldwin Fuller and Robert E. Fuller. She was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, John M. Baughcum, Jr., her first husband, Lewis Watson, her son, Randall Watson, her grandson, Michael Timm, Jr. and a granddaughter, Jamee Alford.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM. Rev. Russell Bentley will officiate. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Mills, Thomas Mills, Austin Alford, Aaron Byrd, Rickey Byrd and James Rozier.
Recie attended Brookhaven Full Gospel Church and was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved animals, mostly cats.
Recie is survived by her daughter, Linda Byrd (Aaron) of Lizella; grandchildren, Brandi Mills, and Amanda Alford (Rickey Byrd); great-grandchildren, Brandon Mills, Thomas Mills, Katherine Mills all of Roberta, Austin Alford, Frances Byrd both of Lizella, and Michaela Timm of Macon; siblings, Marvin Fuller of Lizella, Delbert Fuller of Macon, Raymond Fuller of Macon, Ginger Grimsley of Macon and Wanda Grimsley of Jones County; numerous nieces and nephews; her cat, Bear.
