Betty Joe Lewis

Betty Joe Lewis, 89 of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026. The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. in Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Milton Denmark and Minister Diane Hart will officiate.

Born in Macon, she was the daughter of the late Robert Neville and Louise Cummings Neville. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant and a member of the Mount Nebo Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her son, Gary Lewis, and her daughter, Audrey Goodrum-Fobbs (Eddie).

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Sondra Walton(Julius), Crystal Davis and Alvin Lewis (Laquita); grandchildren, Jaquetta Whitaker(Darell), George Goodrum III, (Artrena), Althea Lewis, and Jairus Walton; four great grandchildren; nieces, Delores Gunn and Bessie Brown; A devoted cousin, Gloria Coach; along with a host of loving cousins, extended family members and dear friends.

Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
