Beverly D. Whitt

Beverly Diane Whitt, 63, of Macon passed away February 2, 2012 after a courageous battle against cancer. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Mike Manley officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jonathon Mitchem, Josh Mitchem, Tommy Colston, Mike Hollingsworth, Lance Cronan, and Tyler Mitchem.

Beverly was born in Savannah, Georgia to Grace and Donald Whitt. She was a 1967 graduate of McEvoy High School and lived in Macon most of her life. She was employed by Belk Mathews for 21 years. She is preceded in death by her father, Donald D. Whitt and her daughter, Samantha Fish Wilcox.

She is survived by her son, Andrew D. Fish (Kasey) of Lizella; mother, Grace Colston Whitt of Macon; two sisters, Pamela F. Mitchem (David) of Snellville and Donna Whitt Ellis of Macon; two most precious grandchildren, Nathan and Conner Fish of Lizella, and caring friends, Eddie W. Fish of Lizella, Richard A. Brown and Cherry Genone of Macon.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Beverly Whitt to Hospice of Central Georgia, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. We would also like to thank the staff at Pine Pointe Hospice for the extraordinary love and care they provided to Beverly and her family.
