Ruby Carolyn Dixon Scarborough, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 5, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Trey Dickerson.
Carolyn was born in Haddock, Georgia to the late Burden Roy and Ruby Mae Bryant Dixon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Wright Scarborough. Carolyn was a member of Forest Hills Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her children, Kim (Tony) McCook of Rowell, Eric (Jennifer) Scarborough of Lizella, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, sister, Frances (Gerald) Reeves of Milledgeville, and several nieces and nephews.
