Carolyn Virginia Tucker Tully, 86 of Macon, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025. A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Tim Long and Reverend Taylor Carter will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Born in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ervin J. Tucker and Helen B. Goff Tucker. She was the widow of Allen Hugh Tully and was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Williams.
Mrs. Tully was a retired registered nurse with Middle Georgia Hospital after 34 years of service and was a member of Forest Hill Church for 51 years, where she attended the Chapman Sunday School Class and volunteered with LINUS Project and was a member of the Prayer Shawl and Backpack Ministries. She was also a member of the Friends of the Library and served as treasurer.
She is survived by her son, Eric Tully (Janna), daughter, Nancy Shmays; Grandchildren, Tucker and Kaylee Shmays, Cassie Moore (Austin) and Gavin Bell; great grandchildren, Amelia and Autumn Moore, and brother, John Tucker (Prudence).
