April 12, 2018

I’m so sorry to hear about the death of Captain Long. He was such a special influence on me as a young boy delivering newspapers to Station 6. I will forever be indebted to Captain Long as he helped “raise me” during the many days and nights at Station 6. As a father figure to me, I definitely have a void in my life with his transition to his eternal Father. Once again, please accept my sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy on the death of your father. Respectfully submitted, Jim Barrow (Cricket)
