Catherine Laurie Reeves

Catherine Laurie Reeves, 87, died on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. John Beck and Dr. Craig Rikard officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 4600 Mercer University Drive, Macon GA 31204.

Mrs. Reeves was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Elmer Roy and Ella Laurie Posey Andrews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mallory Reeves. Mrs. Reeves was a graduate of Miller High School and formerly a sales associate with Belks, and secretary with E. R. Andrews and Sons Sheet Metal Co. and Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. She was a very active member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Crusaders Sunday School.

She is survived by her loving family, daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Doolittle- Bowen and George Bowen of Gray, son and daughter-in-law, Skippy and Carole Reeves of DeLand FL, three grandsons, Ralph (Angel) Doolittle of Macon, Lane (Robin) Doolittle of Monroe, Chris (Amber) Reeves of Winter Springs, FL, eight great grandchildren, Mallory Doolittle, Shaw Doolittle, Dylan Bonner of Macon, Graham Doolittle, Catherine Doolittle, Rebekah Doolittle, Timothy Doolittle of Monroe, and Brock Reeves of Winter Springs, FL, two sisters, Martha Purvis of Macon and Jackie Andrews of Macon and several nieces and nephews.
